I share the same idea. Not everyone should use Groupon. Groupon is not a one-size-fits-all strategy. Just because that other restaurant down by the corner is using Groupon does not mean this restaurant should. I am also against discounting because it conditions customers to look for discounts all the time. The winner in such transactions is not the restaurant nor the customer but Groupon! Regular customers might feel "cheated' as they're paying "regular" prices while first-time customers might not want to come back again as price is their main consideration unless they get another Groupon. As a business owner, I would be wary of commoditizing my products and services.

Re: Comparison of top blogging platforms– WordPress, Typepad, Movable Type, Blogger.

I think WordPress is a great cms and wonderful to have a blog on it. Can anybody help me?

Re: You Better Handle That Initial Groupon Redemption Wave

Ernesto! I know of a restaurant that suffered from being overwhelmed with new clients trying to cash in on a deal and it was with Travel Zoo. So it's a systemic problem with the model. I hope your restaurant will be able to handle the shock.
